Minister for Food Safety Jo Goodhew represents the Rangitata electorate, a rural region in the South Island of New Zealand. She has held this seat since 2005. In the New Zealand Parliament Mrs Goodhew has previously served as Minister of Women’s Affairs, Minister for Senior Citizens, Associate Minister of Health and Junior Government Whip. Mrs Goodhew has held the food safety portfolio since the start of the current parliamentary term in October 2014.

Chairman, Agriculture Skill Council of India With over 25 years of experience in India and internationally, Sanjeev is the Founder & Managing Partner of I-Farm Venture Advisors; Chairman of Agriculture Skill Council of India and National Skills Foundation of India, and serves on the Board of Directors of NCDEX Spot Exchange Ltd and Chairs the Governing Board of Access Development Services. He works closely at policy level with Government & International Institutions like UNICEF and World Bank
Chief Executive, ATEED Brett has held senior management positions for over 20 years, most recently for Ministry of Science and Innovation before being appointed to the ATEED Chief Executive role. His business experience covers a vast array of topics including major change projects and developments in the ICT industry, driving a step change in the performance of the New Zealand science and innovation eco-system, and direct involvement with tourism and major events.
Co-Chairman, Agribusiness and Dairy Committee, PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry Dr. Sagar Khanna is the Director General, Ganesh Scientific Research Foundation New Delhi. He has also served as the Consultant to the Government of India, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture and helped the Department frame policy issues concerning animal husbandry and dairy development. He is Council Member and Consultant, Gerson Lehrman Group, New York, USA.
General Manager, Commercial, New Zealand National Fieldays Society Nick has held the position of General Manager Commercial for the NZ National Fieldays Society since Dec 2011. Nick looks after the marketing, customer, sponsorship & international areas of the business. He is a trained engineer & has been involved in the primary sector for his entire career. As an independent contractor, Nick developed the ‘Salad in a Bag’ for Turners & Growers in 1993, an achievement he is proud of.
Head, Agri Business and Property Finance, Westpac Mark's background encompasses 29 years in banking, initially in the UK with Barclays in Corporate Banking and now in New Zealand with Westpac. Mark joined Westpac in 1995, and has undertaken roles within and led teams in Corporate Banking, Leveraged Finance, Property Finance and Agribusiness. His teams are specifically responsible for providing banking solutions for agribusiness, corporate, property developers and investors.
Trade Commissioner, North and East India Jane took up the role of Trade Commissioner to New Delhi, India in June 2015. Prior to joining NZTE’s India, Middle East and Africa team, Jane was the Director of NZ Inc Relationships based in Wellington. Prior to joining the New Zealand foreign service in 2005, Michael worked in communications and journalism. He holds a Master of Philosophy in international relations from University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Arts in politics and philosophy.
